2003 rx1, I must be missing something.. I bypassed the tors, cleaned carbs x3, new plugs, fresh fuel... machine idles great but soon as u hit throttle or punch it, it boggs down.... but if u tweek the choke it responds good then bogs again... seems like im not getting enough fuel... carbs are spotless now.. any suggestions on something else to try..............

Mine was doing same thing carbs perfect fresh gas idled perfect wide open throttle runs perfect it's when I hammer it it would studded for a few seconds then take off and run great.......my carb boots weren't seated on carbs all the way that helped some, just took it for a ten mile drive this morning still spits and spudders a little bit so I am in same boat again

ya I am currently stumped... I may have to sync my carbs, but they cantbe out that much.... right when urs spits and sputters if u hit ur choke does it take off

Yes it does, acts like carbs are dirty I have cleaned them twice they look brand new even had a second set of eyes look the second time to make sure I didn't miss anything, I have not synced my carbs I don't have the tool to do it but am trying to find local guy with one, I don't know what else to do, new plugs new gas,clean carbs

There are little screens under the needle seat assembly also a filter in the tank ..just a thought

Couldn't find the tool locally so after research I made one out of 5/16" hose looped in a U shape and used antifreeze, had one carb way off, helped my problem a lot, took short 40 mile cruise after work and it still studders but not near as bad am going to try to buy the correct tool and dial them in a little closer

I hate to say this, I really do . . . however, everytime they run ruff, its the carbs. The only other thing to check is the spark plug boots, run the sled in the dark and see if there is a spark show. Lather di-electric grease on the boots is a simple and cheap fix. May or may not work, but it will eliminate that problem either way.

Hi what is your clutch engagement point? If you have a bad spring or weights your engine might not get up to proper rpm for the job.
