Wondering, do I just need a set of 4 copper donuts? Anything else you recommend I do at the same time since I'll have it apart (for longevity and reliability purposes) ?

Ie Clamps, is it recommend I upgrade at this time to stainless y pipes? Just wondering if anyone could provide me a shopping list. Kind of only want to tear this thing apart once, or at least not every year. Just picked up the sled last week . thanks everyone,.

If the titanium pipes are still in good condition I don't know if I would bother replacing them. The flanges usually break when the donuts breakdown and cause play at the joint. That being said if you want the reliability you should put in the stainless pipes with the copper gaskets and file a little off the the clamp spacer so the clamp tighter. Might want to replace the allen key bolts with some grade 8 hex head ones. Check the exhaust where the 2 goes to 1 for cracks, That year of sled does not have have any support in that area. I believe in '08 they started putting a brace there.

Thanks for the info. Being in ontario as well, where's the best place to get the parts from? Sledtoyz or ??

I'm also in Ontario and got them from Sledtoyz. Check Kijiji as I believe there was someone selling some. I also needed a number of stainless rivets seeing a number of them in the tunnel had either gone missing or had too much play in them. You will also need a lot of patience and loosening oil.

Pic... Yuck... Lol.

My loosening oil will be a case of beer.

Also roughly where the Dremel is sitting there was a bracket that was riveted to the hanger on the pipes. I didn't have enough room to push the pipes back to remove and replace the donuts so I had to drill those out. Just take your time, not hard but it's time consuming. Prob a good idea to pull the skid while you are at it, get a better view of the pipes and you could also check all the bearings and see if the sliders need replacing.
