Ignition Coil Removal

Silly question. Going to change plugs tomorrow. Do the ignition coils come off easily after the bolt is removed? Just pull on them?

Yes and no....Some will come off easy some will take a little grunt to get them to move.I put them back on with just a very light film of dialectic grease on the spark plug.

Just keep twisting the ignition coil back & fourth as you pull them off.

Once off its a good idea to blow the spark plug hole out with compressed air to ensure no junk gets down in the piston. If you don't have compressed air try vacuuming out the hole.
