Could someone please help me, I am trying to change spark plugs. I’ve gotten to the step where I remove the 10mm screw that holds down the ignition coil. I can’t seem to get coil off. I don’t want to damage, but feel like I am doing something wrong.
Any Tips?

Just wiggle the coil side to side and pull up. Sometimes they are stuck on pretty good.

Spray down the outside with silicone before you put them back on. That way it will be easier the next time.

I use a little hook bar and screw driver to pry up. Turn the coil pack back clockwise and counterclock wise a few time will loosen up. Be careful if its cold out as the plastic can get brittlle. Put a little dielectric grease on rubber boot when you put back together, will make it easier the next time

Sometimes tempers and cuss words start flying while working on what seem to be simple things.
Bleeding sometimes fits in there too, lol.

They get stuck in there good. I used lots of silicone spray, then letting it sit, then working in them, the repeat all. And to boot there are four of them. It's miserable. If I could tho I would highly discourage using any sort of pry bars or other tools to force them up. The reason is those coils are plastic and can break fairly easily. And if that happens its only make this process that much more stressful.
