Went for my first trail ride last weekend and noticed sled wasn't performing as expected. My front shocks were completely out of whack from either dealer or from factory. left one's compression was at 5 clicks and rebound was at 10 clicks, right shock compression was at 2 clicks and rebound was at 1 click.
Might explain why my nytro was handling like sh*t, then again, maybe not. VERY hard to turn with C&A outlaws on there. Have to adjust to lessen ski pressure.
So, I'm making sure everything is back to "stock" settings, then I'll start fine tuning from there. I haven't checked rear shocks yet, not sure what I'll find. I'm thinking of LOWERING limiter straps one hole, seeing as my transfer isn't nearly as bad as everyone else's. Just a heads up. DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING!

Always set your sled up for how you ride!
I agree, just wasted a few hours establishing a baseline with what wasn't even close to being the "stock" factory settings, that's all. no biggie, just a heads up for others to check first before they go riding.
