after 300 mi of riding kinda easy I started to ride my sled hard and so far I am not too happy. I thought this sled was supposed to be a rough trail sled but all it does is ride rough. I set the sled up like Grims in the set up section. and it rides ok on smooth trails, but when I want to power through mogels at above 40mph it just bottoms it will take one bump or small jump good but put two together and it just crashes through the suspension. I weigh 260 I have installed the x click overload torsion spring cams and i have them on full hard. I have the high and low speed compression adjusters set to full hard and the rebound 9 clicks out. I have the middle shock preload at 3" and the comression at 4 clicks out from full hard. I have the float x shocks set with 65lb air with compression 9clicks out and rebound 9 clicks out. One thing I found is after some miles the sled builds up a large load of ice in tunnel that compounds the problem even more. When I picked up the sled I asked if I needed stiffer springs and dealer said just ride it first. Now when I have done some research I called dealer and wanted to order the 1900 kg torsion springs only to find out the are back ordered with no time given when they will have any. They can get me the 2100kg springs witch will probable be so stiff that I will never get the sled to ride good. I can ride my Hygear improved 06 apexGT over the same type terrain faster without bottoming. I was hoping not to have to spend a lot of money to get this thing to handle the bumps. What has everyone else done. IDK maybee I am the only one having this problem. I ride tug hill where the trails are always rough. Oh and I am almost 49 yrs old I know there are some kids riding harder then me.

dont b afraid to turn the clickers to full hard im tying to b a smart #*$&@ but u no the star adjusters on top of the rear shocks gets firmer going counter clockwise
i did not no this till i read the manuel cuz i would turn them to the right and id swear it was getting softer.. and yes the snow and ice that builds up in these things is extreme ive never seen that befor the nytro???

If you are 260 lbs, I doubt you will get away with the standard 1400 rear springs. Go for the 1900's. Too bad they are on back order, maybe one of the dealers have got them in stock...?
Forget all BS about the SE being for aggressive riders or heavy riders. You already said it yourself. It is like any other FX Nytro, but with slightly worse comfort, getting even worse when you close all of the adjusters...

This year I was able to make my suspension work better, the sled accelerate harder and brake better and get better fuel mileage. it didn't cost me a dime. Not trying to be an A hole, but I lost 57 pounds. What a differance.
