I was thinking of getting the aftermarket cv springs and changing the spark plugs on my '05 (I want to use the same type of plugs that come with the filter kits). Has anyone done just these mods? I was wondering if it was worth it and if such minor changes would even make a noticable difference. I know they are not expensive but if there is no difference I really don't want to waste my time. I am just looking for a slightly crisper throttle response. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Clutching helps too. Lighten the tip of the stock weights really makes em zing(slower tho but can,t have both)
I just put in new plugs CR10EK'S, Gaped to .030. They should be gaped .020-.025 right out of the box. I just bought some carb springs from someone off this site, not installed yet. I haven't tried it yet because all of the snow melted.

Good clutching will make a difference also. The stock weights are very lazy with no mechanical leverage in the middle of the curve.
Use a more aggressive profile and then a spring with a higher overal rate, it will make the sled "revvier".
