My innovate gauge drives me crazy!
I recalibrate it , works ok for a ride or two ,
then it goes off scale to the top. eror code 2
I call innovate ,
each time Philipe' has a new fix , but it only works for a short period of time then goes bad again !
Free air calibration , over and over !
It now is wired to power up after engine is running , because Philpe' told me it was inconsistent voltage when engine was cranking !!!
Extra grounds as innovate also wanted, engine to chassis , to gauge etc.
This time , as of yesterday , shows all straight bars , no numbers ???
HELP PLEASE!

Might not be the answer you're looking for, but dust the Innovate and buy an FJO. The sensor is calibrated to the gauge itself at the factory, there is no free air calibration required. I'm sure I've sold over 60 of these to members of this forum alone, do a search and see if you can find a post from someone with a problem. We've been selling FJO gauges for over two years now and have yet to take a support call or make a warranty claim. That's zero.... not one.

This is what the manual says when the Gauge shows -.-.-
4.6. No Connection detected
If the display shows: -.-.-
The XD-16 cannot receive data from the LM-1 or other devices. Make sure all the connections are fully seated.

Checked all connections , dielectric grease ,
Have taken the seat off , 10 times + to do a free air calibration !
I think it a voltage change during start up is where it goes into a calibration mode.
Just so happy the MPI Apex works better than the Innovate pos !
I have 6 customers that I have sold the same unit to , all are unhappy , I think the gauge it too, voltage sensitive for the sleds!

RX1 rider is correct, I found with mine that the terminator plug was out and it gave me that - - - code( wich is a bad connection),, and the ground is very very very, did i say very important, this guage drove me crazy also but now works great, actually a friend of mine went thru the same thing and he now swears by it also,, good luck, Im not an expert on this but i did pull my hair out with this unit so if i can help dont be shy,

Mine have been working flawlessly for a year now, not a single hickup. OK - I get the E09 error code when cranking, but I supply power from the same wire I feed the MCX fuelpump. The wire goes from the ignition key assy so this wire is probably affected by voltage drop when cranking. The E09 flashes twice then goes away and the H00-H99 heating sequence is on display until sensor is fully heated, then AFR data comes online.
I did follow the install manual to the T when installing all wireing, so far I'm very happy with mine. It has been the single most valueable tuning aid I have ever bought, priceless. My sled now has throttle response like never before, my carb tune is the best I have ever had
If I buy another AFR system in the future I will pay the $$$ for a more rugged piece of equipment and the warranty FJO delivers. The blue figures sold it to me, way cool

Have you tried supplying power from another source? Like the White/Blue or White/Brown wires.

how much for these fjo gauges in blue version?
I have three almost brand new Innovates gauges that shows either Anything (random values) or that stupid flashing 7.4 value...
I am extremely bored fiddling with this crap...

Who knows ?????
Key on pink , I can try , but does it supply power when cranking ?
