Hey everyone, I have a strange issue with my Phazer 151" track. The left slider is shredding on the inside edge. Its happening really fast too, new slider this AM... toast this PM. I have double checked my alignment, track tension is perfect, and the track seems to be travelling even on both sides.

I have tried an extra rear axle wheel (4 total instead of 3) but didn't help, last slider lasted 140km without external wheels. This one only lasted about 25km.

I have measured the skid that this track came from (Skidoo 151") and the width of the sliders from outside to outside was 10.25" the same as my Phazer is. The sliders on the Skidoo skid are even wider than the Phazers so I can't figure it out. These are graphite infused sliders so they should last really well.

What am I missing? Any thoughts? :o|

Thanks, Emery

Have a look at the track clips on that side. One or more could be bent and/or missing.

Sure enough must have been hiding on me during my first track inspection!! Pobodies nerfect. Must have hit something pretty hard to bend a clip out like that. I have just removed it and probably won't replace it.

Thanks Grimm, forced me to take another look, thought I had hit some barbwire the first time. I was just plain confused the second.

I had something similar happen to my old Venture 600 once. Mine bent enough to peel the slider off in about 200 feet. Had to go get a trailer to bring it home. Running a local field/ditches. Never figured out what bent it up like that.....
