Ok second season on my XTX, sled is all stock with 5.7 Pilots and the Bergstrom set up. Sled has handled beautifully for the past 2 seasons, went out yesterday -5 and did a 65 miler with my kid, snow was super hard, sled ran great, however for the first time ever I experinced inside ski lift, I tried messing with the compression clickers and went back 2 clicks (to the soft side I normally run 6 clicks hard) this made no change went up 3 clicks ( now 7 hard) again no better, I was thinking that this would stiffen the outside shock helping to keep the ski from lifting. I am sure that the super hard trails had a lot to do with the ski lift but in the future I would like to try and tune this out, any suggestions? Was I on the right track? Was it the conditions that made the inside ski lift? or something else, I have never had this issue with this sled before yesterday. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Try this: where the swaybar mounts to the lower A arms, relocate the mount using the most forward bolt hole. This effectively stiffens the swaybar which helps with steering.
Regarding your ski shocks, loosen your springs to the softest setting. This should lower the front of the sled and make it corner better too.

What does the front hole on the sway bar mount due specifically? I really had no complaints about the handeling until yesterday, sled has handled great for 2 seasons, but yesterday (super cold and super hard packed snow) the inside ski lift was present. Thanks

Do the RTX models have the different mounting holes on the sway bar? I've looked on my 08 and didn't find any other holes.

I think it helps to decrease body roll. A lot of earlier Apex owners have installed stiffer swaybars to do this, but the Nytros have the optional bolt hole, didn't know that the 08s didn't though.
Try it and see, if you don't like it, go back to stock. It only takes a few minutes.

Will give it a shot, I often wondered about that hole. Do you think the inside ski lift was due to the conditions? Or could it be carbeds getting worn etc (1000 miles on carbides now!) just struck me as odd as I have never had the issue on this sled until yesterday! Thanks I appreciate the input!
Check you carbides. My handling started out normal this season, then started to get progressively worse. Looked at the carbides yesterday while out riding, and they were gone. Had to ride back 40mi with none and now have worn down brand new mtn skis.

Ok thank for the input, so what is the consensus? Hard snow or something worn, carbides look good, front end feels tight???

I know my sled handles very different depending on snow conditions.
