Just finished taking my nytro mtx for a rip to check out if the weights that I installed fixed my overreving problem. It's still overreving and lightly hitting the limiter when held wide open, The sled has 2000 km 's on it, I tried my spare belt but no change. My weights had no rivets in them at all just 3 blank holes, I installed the rivets closest to the bolts that hold the weights in place. Anyone have any other ideas, frustrated with this thing. #$%&*

If you are over reving you need to add weight to the tip of the weight. It sounds like you added weight to the heel...what kind of weights are they?

stock weights, Not sure where the heel was, yamaha told me to put them in the top of the weights, maybe I did the wrong holes, maybe I could try that.

the tip refers to the end of the weight farthest from the mounting location. keep throwing weight at it

I had to load all holes on my weights, don't recall the different rivets weights I had to put in.

anyone else know what rivets to use.

The heaviest rivet yamaha has is the 17mm at 4.5 grams. You can also pick up some metric washers to put between the rivet and the weight before you mushroom the rivet. MPI does make some 6 gram weights. Best way to do this is head down to radioshack or whatever they are called now and pick up a small scale. I bought mine one from them a few years ago, digital. Works well. You should be weighing them after loading them up as each rivet can vary, you want them all to be equal in weight. Where are you located?
