will the camoplast 1.75 track work without removing the tunnle protectors or do i have to remove them and anything else? thanks for any input.

you will have to remove the tunnel protectors. Or cut the track so it clears.

You can buy a camoplast 2" challenger track that is "notched" for heat exchangers/tunnel protectors and that track will fit without any modifications.

But removing the tunnel protectors also helps with the icing under the tunnel.

with the 2" notched track, do i need to run different drive wheels? part number for the track? also, I am staying with the 121 length, thanks

I also have 1.75" track. Front cooler protectors need to be removed.
My summer mod will be 9 teeth BRP wheels to drive axle and removing tunnel protectors beacause of icing.
OFT 136" extension looks too nice and maybe white SLP Powder Pro skis and...
Friend tried 2" with 121" track, not good idea with Nytro.

Does a 2" not fit? I thought that it did with the tunnel protectors removed?

I have a 1.75 on my RTX. I dropped to 8 tooth anti-ratchets and left the front protectors on. Its very very close in front with this combination. infact its so close I'm probably going to pull it apart again this fall and die grind the fronts protectors off. If you run 9 tooth drivers the front protectors would have to go for sure. The upper protectors had to go.

Anyone know max height with all protectors removed? (With 9t drivers)

With all protectors removed and 9T drivers, you will be able to squeeze a 2" Challenger track in. It is tight, but no interference when standing still - full braking with loose track tension might be a different thing...

ahhh, so not much room for snow to push thru then eh?

So do I go down to a 1.75 or change driver size?

snopro442 sorry for hijacking this thread.

My 2 inch challenger fit with 9T anti ratchet drivers and I could still fit my fingers between the lugs and the front heat exchanger, barely. So there is enough room to run it without worrying. I ran it pretty loose out west and didn't have a problem. Had about 2" of sag under the rails, I was just too lazy to tighten it up.

I wouldn't bother with a 121 2" nytro or a 1.75". The nytro spins the track so fast you'll be "digging your own grave" constantly. Stretch that sucker to a 136, or a tipped up 144.

You can fit a 1.375 arctic cat sno pro track under the nytro with no modifications and leave the tunnel protectors in, but that would be it, and it would be close. The one I bought had very small notches in it for the cat heat exchangers, but even without the notches it would fit.

Thanks for clearing that up. My track is the notched 136x2 but I have no use for the protectors so they are all coming out.

I will be installing an ad boivin expert x later this fall and its a 121, i would like to keep it at 121 so i would like to get an iadea of the best track set-up, thanks for all of the input so far.

Nothing cat walks like a 121x1.75 set-up. That is what I always ran on my rev. ;)!

If you plan on riding wheelies...the 121 is the way to go for sure. I was talking more about powder riding though.

What kind of riding are you planning on doing with the ad boivin? If you are going to be trail riding quite a bit I personally wouldn't go over the 1.375, cause I'd want to run studs.

the 1.5 intense would be a good track for all around use. On trail and off trail it would perform well. I know my 2" challenger hooked up like crazy on good trails! But i don't see it lasting very long if I only trail rode it.
