Installing Rear Heat Exchanger

I just got Yamaha's rear heat exchanger for my Vector and Apex. I thought one of the threads I read said to just take the crossover out and bolt the new heat exchanger in. The instructions say I have to cut the sides of the tunnel to take the crossover out and put the exchanger in. Has anybody put one in that can tell me? Do you have any pictures? I don't care what Yamaha says, these sleds won't run too cool. I have 144 studs and had the light come on numerious times in marginal snow. Also my anti freeze was off the scale when I checked it, despite that the dealer said it was 60/40. It was too thick, like it was straight anti-freeze.

the instruction say that you only have to cut one side, but i whent ahead and cut the other side as well. looks like it came that way from the factory with both cut. and make sure you dont take the rear bleed screw all the way out right away. i took mine out whil the sled was still warm and got a antifreez bath
