Just jack the rear end off the floor and undo the springs. Then there is zero need to undo limiter straps, shocks, wheel axles or anything else. Skid comes out and goes back in without effort. Removing all track tension helps but is not necessary.
When re-installing, put the front bolts in first, then the rear bolts (they will line up with zero effort anyway...). Then hook the springs back on, put the sled back down on the ground and tightening all four bolts to correct torque spec.
