$89.00 / Year for full coverage with MetLife. It was hard to get insurance at first with them, but I've been a customer for years and all my insurance is with them.

I have 4 sleds insured with MetLife, 06 Apex, 08 Nytro, 08 XP 500 ss and 09 1200 XR. I have full coverage with 250 deduc. and my total payment for all 4 sleds is $420 per year US funds. I switched from State Farm after 25 years and saved a lot of money on my sleds, home, car and truck.

Who is everyone (in the US) using for sled insurance? What are you paying and are you satisfied with them? I'm extremely dissatisfied that Foremost only has an annual policy and you can't put ins on for just the riding season.

I use Foremost. They allow me to drop collision for the off season. Brings me down to the $300 range for the year for my 06 Apex. They will lead you to believe that you can't drop the insurance for the off season, you just have to push for it. It is not "recommended" is what they would tell me.

What happens if something does go wrong in the off season ~ insurance is cheap. Foremost is who I use and carry it year around ~ not much of a gambler when it comes to my toys.

You still have insurance for everything but collision. Since you are not riding it, it is not an issue.

How do you figure? Foremost wanted $768/yr. That's not cheap. Look at all the guys with full coverage for under $300 - some even under $200! That's what I'm looking for and I don't care about off-season coverage. I've never had anything happen to anything in my garage in 25 years. Knock on wood, I've also never had anything happen to a sled or bike while riding.

I'm not paying 700+ and I'm not knocking on wood which is my point. I'll take the year around coverage. There are always going to be somebody cheaper just to get your business ~ played that game. My point was full coverage year around.

I had the same issue with Progressive. Not only with the sleds but with my vechiles..I switched my 2 vechiles,house,2 sleds and camper to State Farm and saved a fortune. It's been over a year now and I am still with State Farm. I thought it might be too good to be true. But seems they delivered what they promised.

What are you paying with Foremost? We're both in Michigan with similar sleds. $768/yr was the quote with $500 ded. Do you have other things insured with them? This was thru the Farmers agent I have my Suburban covered with and Foremost is the only company they use for rv insurance.

I wasn't knocking on wood for my off-season storage without insurance - that doesn't worry me one bit. I was knocking on wood that I've never had a claim during the riding season either with sleds or bikes.

I have my Attak and my son's 06 Crossfire 700 (he is listed on the policy with his age of 14 which is expensive) and my 27' Legend trailer and I pay 700.00 per year. I have Farmers insurance for home and auto. Foremost is owned by Farmers. I have moved around for cheaper rates but they seem to slowly rise it back to what I was paying before the move ~ same holds true for my business insurance. Got to have insurance, yet it seems like your throwing money away. :o|
