I was at the BIS where I was finally able to see many more MCX boosted Apex. I am still having some lag, more than most guys anyway and high elevation probelms. It looks like I got an older version turbo? I saw an aluminum nipple welded into the front left of the intercooler face (looking from the front of the sled) that guys had connected a vacuum line to the barometric sensor on the sled. Mine does not have this connection at the cooler. Is the significance of that connection to help with my problems? If so, does a kit exist for the mod or can I do it myself or what? Thanks.

Have you checked both of your two into 1 headers? If you have lag then theres a good chance yours have melted half shut. Buy some new ones off of a front mount turbo guy thats not using them and get the latest mapping. As far as the nipple from intercooler to barometric pressure sensor, It has cleaned up my bottom end a bunch and I also have neen getting alot better fuel economy. I'll post a pic tomorow.I just tapped in a little brass nipple into the intercooler and ran a vac line down to the sensor. Easy!

Sweet fix, I would love to see that photo. Thanks. I will check the lean problem. I have an updated mapping from January 15th. Not sure if Erik had another one since then.

I heard they had some kind of nipple with pipe threads that screws into b.o.v. bolt hole.

Mounted at the bottom of the battery holder under the intercooler.
