It definitely felt like track slipping right under my feet and not something chaim case related. I haven't checked the chain case tension since I bought the sled a little over a year ago so thanks for the reminder to double check it before the next ride. Finger tight and then back off a 1/4 turn correct?

Well replaced the drive shaft bearing today. It had a little rust but not in too bad of shape at all. Also adjusted the chain case tension as well. Went for a ride and still had the ratcheting issue. Ended up riding and tightening the track until I was able to pretty much get rid of the ratcheting. Took a bunch of tries and the track is pretty darn tight. I'm guessing a new track and anti-ratchet drivers are on my to do list this spring. Seems like there is always tinkering to be done with these Nytros.

I can't believe all of the issues you're having with a sled that is only 10 years old!

Well it's 8 years old. 2016 minus 8 would be 2008. It only has 3000 miles which is nothing compared to the 5000 plus miles people are putting on sleds only a few years old.
