I am thinking of buy RX1 Mountain for my dad....

I need you advice guys!!!

How tippy is 05 Mountain and how good it handling bumps and jumps...

Is much typpier then RX1 Warrior due to narrower Ski stance and so on...

We dont have mountains in Russia but we have some very deep snow...

We often goo through ski trail and wood and over some bumps...

Please tell how good is 05 RX1 Mountain compared to other sleds...

Some reveiws would be nice...

We are going to look at one Black 05 RX1 Mountain today...

Many Thanks ;)!

Ded....

The RX-1 Mt is alot differen't to ride than your regular 2 stroke and you need to get used to it. If you come into a cornner fast you do not brake like you would on a 2 stroke or you will have alot of ski lift. Keep on the throttle and just let off a little bit because of the engine brake.
I just sold my Moms 03 RX-1 Mt because she could not get use to it and she was very tired at the end of the day, she only rode about 700 miles on it and wanted her Mt Max 700 back. I need to mention my Mom is 74 years old and does not ride like she use to. My dad is 69 years old and he loves it! He loves it so much he now has a Turboed RX-1 Mt. The RX-1 is a great machine and the new 05's with the upadated suspension is great. You won't go wrong buying your Dad this sled. My personal opinion is he will love it, just get use to ridding it before you make any judgements. You can always put a wide front end kit on it also if he doesn't feel comfortable.

Thanks for your comments....Wider ski stance kit??? What is it consists of??? Is it expensive??? Does it really helps???

Thanks

Any other reviews pls!!!

MPI has a light weight kit that will widen your ski stance to 42 inches and is lighter in weight. I believe it cost somewhere around $400.00 and you lose 6 to 7 lbs. There are many aftermarket companies out there that offer this kit, MPI is just an example. Talk to your dealer in Russia, they should be able to help you out. A wide kit will make any sled more stable and it does help if you are a big guy. I like it on my Turbo RX-1 and I am 6'7" 308lbs.

Is it possible just to put RX1 wider front suspension...Upper arm and lower arm on both sides and something else...It should work...

The mountain sled isn't meant to be wide or stable. In the deep it must be able to be thrown around. Jump on one running board next time you're in some powder, lean it over and around she goes.

What you get on the trails is a machine that likes to go straight ahead. You maybe can't keep up with the trail sleds, but at least you can have fun when it gets a bit deeper.

Hi...I have joined the club  ....

Bought a 05 RX1 Mountain (blue)...

Let see how well will it do compared to my 05 800 H.O. Gade 136 x 16 x 1.75 track in Deep Stuff...

What is best break in procedure...1st 160km (100miles) under 6000 then until 500km(300m) no more then 8000...and then WOT....
