Hey guys, looking to boost my 07 Attak. Lets face it, I've abused every aspect of this sled and it has not failed me yet. What I would like to know, does my sled have to many miles? 7000 for a four stroke is not much at all, but it has been 7000 abusive miles. Im looking to build this sled for a trail/race setup. Been looking at simmons cpr or mcxpress. Looking for some advise, season's over and need a new project for summer!

I think you will be fine. When they do the headshim install make sure they check the valve clearance and you should be fine. I wouldnt histate at all though.

X2 go for it.

Compression check and leak down as long as its well within specs she's ready for some forced induction.

I've got over 15000 miles on mine from stock. ;)!

The engine is fine, however boost is hard on the chassis, if you think you abuse it now, wait till Boost. Everything is faster, harder, and wears faster.

As example I change my chain every 2 years, gears every 4 (they need it by then), driveline bearings greases religiously, oil lite a arm bushings, OFT steering bushings, exhaust leaks almost yearly, 02 Sensors every 2 years, etc.

I too abuse the sled because I want to and it can take it most of the time.

Be ready for all these increased costs on top of boost is all I'm saying. Keep an eye on it and be ready for the maint and enjoy! Bad part is you can never ride ANYTHING that is not 200+ hp afterwards it ruins you!

............You said it Kinger...nothing is the same when you get used to boost..would never sell my yam cause of that...my RMK is a joke when going up a hill climb compared to the yammie...bought the 2-smoke for technical tree ridding..there just ant no power on all the 800s..yes cat and doo doo too..

No problem. Mine has 5500km on boost 6500km total. Checked leakdown and compression this fall, good numbers.
I agree with the above statement on the chassie abuse. I have changed a lot of rivets and bearings and panel parts.

But they du hold up great.
