I have been in a real bind lately trying to find reasonably priced shocks to replace mine on my Phazer FX to finish the season since I broke a shock shaft a couple weeks ago.
I have the oppourtunity to get nytro clickers off a 2012 but know they are 17.5 or so eye to eye, making them 1 larger than the apex that will also fit.
Is it possible to fit these on my phazer to get through the season without modifications? What I am thinking which is likely totally wrong is that if I backed off the springs almost all the way I would be able to get the socks mounted and bolted down and it would probably handle way different but really just wan to get my sled moving again.
Just wondering if this makes sence to you nytro guys or do you suggest I stay away?
Thanks

If they're long enough use them. You might want to set them up a little softer. It's ok to use shocks that are a little longer but never use ones that are shorter than the original
