It relocates the steering post more forward, which changes the sweep of the bars...it puts them in a more natural sweep instead of in your lap. It also raises the height. It's not a must have item but a very highly recommended one. I've rode my first season without it and my second season with it...I liked season two much better with regards to steering/handling.

it is an improvement in steering feel as well as a more natural sweep as Shadow said, if you just want to tighten up the steering the offer billet blocks instead of the relocator that also uses oilite bushings instead of the factory plastic bushings.

I wouldn't ever have another Nytro without one. It's well worth the $150.

It also changes out the steering post blocks from crappy plastic to billet and added a bushing pressed with oil so it never needs to be replaced unlike the OEM.
Ever push a heavy wheelbarrow and your arms down by your thighs banging when you go to turn.... sound familiar?
Add the relocator and no more pushing the wheelbarrow.

Do you have to re-align the skis after you put the kit in?

No you dont have to align the skies after. All the kit does is move the sterring post forward into a more natural riding positon for the nytro. You may have to rotate the bars a little since it moves everything up and forward. It is a simple install. There are also a few other relocators out there that do the same thing. Most people would agree that the fit and finish of the OFT part is top notch. You definitly get what you pay for.
