Take this for what it’s worth. Someone from Thief Rivers Falls, Mn posted today that his buddy worked at the plant and he told him that Argo is buying the sled side and Tao is buying the wheeler side, an Asian company that sells knock off atv’s and stuff like that.

At least the drama and stories are much alive.

I could see Argo doing it for dealer expansion in prime sled/atv areas. They would have to believe the yearly loss on the sled side would be more than offset by the growth on the ATV side as the sled business for all makes loses money. Tao Tao buying the dirt side would sure make them the new CF Moto want-to-be.

When I read this I had to look Tao up, I didn't even know who they were. So many stories going around. But as the last article says, it takes awhile to get all the legalities shored up if a sale is taking place.

The April's Fools jokes are flying high on social media today. So far I have read Argo bought AC, then John Deere bought them, then BRP bought them.

On a side note the Haydays page posted "new rule for Sept 2025", no alcohol on the premises anymore.

On multiple platforms people from that area (TRF) have posted Argo was the buyer and all the legalities are being worked through right now. They have also posted that 2026 models are already built. We will see..........

That is great news! I have heard rumors that they will be getting back into racing of all types... including asphalt... and that the ProCross chassis (with upgrades) & 998T engine are still a possibility.
