Was wondering if anybody uses anything else besides chaincase oil in their sled. I have always used syn. c.case oil. I know of some dealers that use regular gear oil from a car/truck. Was wondering peoples results. thanks rich

I use royal purple gear lube just cause I had some lying around I haven't pulled teh chain case apart yet from last year but didn't seem to make much diff. Some people even use ATF which frees up some friction but I choose the gear lube.

YAMAHA outboard gear oil, change it ever year after season is over, rust protection for your chaincase.
