Is this the Last year for the Nytro

I love to see a radical new chassis with the motor under the rider.

It will be another year of exciting....bold new graphics, yeah baby! :tg:

Cat really stepped up this year and this should force Yamaha to really make big moves, I hope it is for next year..

Fun stuff to read :) Time will determine weather the cat will have issues or not. At least for the first time in a long time Cat is racing what the consumers ride

Ski-doo had great success with the original REV on the sno-cross circuit, but the XP chassis did very poor in sno-cross.Seems polaris had better success making a REV rip-off with the IQ racer 600(it was only sold as a consumer sled for one season, sat on one at a local dealer a few seasons back)..

Not really, Cat has only been racing a limited build for 4 seasons. that is a better record than Yamaha. Since its inception, the Nytro has only been raced in the mod class at a factory level because the modificatins required to make it competitive are not allowed in stock class. At least consumer Cat riders could buy the 500 Sno-Pro which was very, very similar to the 600 Sno-Pro.

First week of feburary is what my dealer told me a few days go(much sooner than normal). Also no early release(bet there will be plenty of prototypes to try).Saw on sno-west that the lightweight skid yamaha sells for the MTX nytro removes 25 pounds.Thats pretty good.Lets hope there are more weight savings on the 2013 units. Also read on sno-west that the hillclimb factory nytro will have a front end that is 10-12 LBS lighter.

I heard this.

"The cross country sleds already have a new sub frame that pushes skis forward just like the kit you ordered" (I ordered the skinz kit) I do not even know what the cross country sleds are.

I think the cross country racers are racing soon.. looks like Dec 17th in ND.

I wonder if they have any snow for the race?

Beeze, where did you hear the information from?

I read that this years cross country sleds will run a 128" skid and a beefed front end...read it in OSM.
