Just seen this on amsnow and got this from srxspec.
Looks like the RX 'might' be compeditive with these changes.
Review 4-stroke classifications:
Yamaha RX1 will be classified in the Stock 600 single pipe class and 700 Improved Stock class.
Yamaha RX Vector will be classified in the Stock 500 class and is not eligible for Improved Stock classes.
Arctic Cat T660 Turbo will be classified in the Stock 500 class and is not eligible for Improved Stock classes.
The Yamaha RX 1 will be able to run 1000cc Open and 1000cc Heavy Mod with a turbo or supercharger. All 4-stroke snowmobiles will be monitored and reclassified if necessary to maintain fair competition.

That sucks that I can't run a turbo rx1 in the 700 or 800 imp. class.
racing
I wonder if they are going to alow the same isr rules for speed running because the rx1 will dominate in speed runs there is a few running 110-111 in a 1000ft and the top 600's are only aroung 106 in a 1000ft.Grass the rx1 can't compete on the grass but speed runs is a different story.

You'll see a few RX-1's competing and winning the 600 class this summer. You'll also see the Vector out in full force.
