has any one had trouble with jack shaft bearing driven clutch side?Mind the tappered collar went through the bearing ruining brg, jack shaftand collar.I hear you can change it to the new collar that is on the 04 it has a jam nut on the inside so the collar will not spin in bearing.
Just curious, Are people that are having jackshaft bearing problems have stock clutching. I have 7,000 miles on my 03 and have not had any problems. I called my dealer and they said they have not had any rx-1's with this problem. And they are a big dealer in Michigan. Do you think this is a problem with people that have made modifications to the original clutch or does it not matter?

Some here said the tapered bushing might be in backwards? On my black one, it had been removed, when the engine came out last year, and it (the bushing) moved out. Didn't do any damage, as I felt it right away, and had not moved since. But my blue one has twice the miles and is perfect. Is there a right and wrong way to put them in? The book has nothing on this.
