I have the Yamaha Team FX jacket from 08 and I absolutely love this jacket ! It fits awesome, looks even better, and it provides the perfect balance of warmth and breathability. I ride in variably cold temps and it's always kept me comfortable when riding. I purchased it from Port Yamaha right after last years pre season show, and Kevin hooked me up !

Had an old Reima jacket and really liked it but just started showing wear. Bought Cabelas goretex motorsport jacket and have never been cold and it has good padding where you may need it.
Check it out.

Freak, I had Reima years ago and didnt have much luck. You seriously have to try the Klim gear to know how good it is. You wont regret it.
For awhile there, I was buying new clothing every year. The only brand I didnt try is Castle. Choko clothing is very warm and durable, almost to warm at times. My Reima stuff wore terribly, meaning the fabric on the outside looked very old after one season. I like the FXR styling alot, but it had a tendancy to get more wet when off trail. Klim combines all the best of everything. Its warm, light and dry. If your looking for a stylish jacket, certainly FXR, Castle...etc offer more flashy colors.

My Reima jacket is slightly heavy... The big issue I have with it, is that it's very uncomfortable because it's so stiff from the elbow and shoulder pads. Is the Klim, like this?

had them all- Klim, reima castle x but the best jacket has to be my FXR. it was plenty warm with or with out the liner. Whats nice is it fits over the tek vest with out the liner and is plenty warm, and even better it wisks away the water so even in those lovely snow/rain falls we have in the north east- you stay plenty dry.

Freak, after I posted I forgot to mention the other thing I hated about the Reima was how stiff the arms were. Klim is not even remotely close to that.

My buddy is a dealer, and they stopped selling Reima and FXR because so many people came back in after a long season and the jackets were falling apart. They're great for the weekend rider guy, but not durable enough for the long haul guys and people that wear them for more than just riding. His didn't make 1 season.
His was FXR, and this a 2 winters ago, just so u know.

- None, looking now!
I've been a fan of Coldwave. ( Powerskin ) I sled in with that jacket and a jersey, that's it. Once I was a little chilly but it was -40. I run the one of the lowest windies you can get, and still I am fine. Unfortunately, Coldwave doesn't make the jacket I have anymore. ( Good thing I have two of the same coat. lol ) I've been on the first jacket for about 5-6 years now.
