Don't know how many of you frequent http://www.johndee.com for his daily snow forecasts. In my opinion he's the best weather guy out there and a very avid snowmobiler. From what i understand he went into the hospital on Sunday with chest pains they did have to put in a stint and he is doing much better supposed to be released tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with ya John get well soon. (I miss your optimistic snow forecasts)

I frequent the Johndee site, my prayers are with him also. Yamadoo

How come its all of us Minnesota guys that fixate on his site. :? Hope the snowman gets well soon.

Well now I know why there wasn't a forecast yesterday. He is not having much luck in the winter season after he broke his leg a couple of years ago and now this. I sure hope he is O.K. Thanks for letting us know Convert.

Get well soon John. I hope this message finds you in better health. Hang in there bud and remember one thing. We're out here rooting you on. Even though you ride a Polaris!! Prayers John Dee.

I use his website for the NCN - Northern Cam Network. If you sled in the UP then you can click and actually see live time pics with some even having snow level indicators right there. It's nice to see where the lake effect is hitting the hardest for the freshest snow.

Hope all is well John!

I was just on & thought it was funny he hadn't changed things since Dec. 12th!

Get well soon JD!!!!!!!

I've been a John Dee fan for several years now. I check the site every morning religiously and was wondering why there was no update yesterday. Hope he feels better soon and doesn't feel pressured to come back to work too soon. I'll just have to use that crappy weather.com

Update:

By John Dee on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 - 08:14 pm:

Hi Everyone.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I survived my little ordeal and am doing just fine. The Dr. asked that I take it easy for a day or two, so I will not be updating the forecasts tomorrow morning, but do plan to do a journal later tomorrow and fill you all in on what went down.

Thanks for all your notes of concern, prayers and well wishes. I have over 400 e mails to read through, so I hope you all understand if I do not respond to them!

But I am home and I am well (actually better than when I went in) and am very, very lucky!

Good night from the Keweenaw..

-John
