I just bought my first 4 stroke snowmobile tonight. I bought an 06 red/black APEX RTX and also an 08 phazer GT (for the wifey).
I love this apex, this thing is awesome...i cant believe how sweet it is. I am incredibly excited, i hope summer doesnt come this year.
It does need some new donuts soon, probably a new Y pipe too judging by reading all these postings (sled exhaust sounds a bit louder than my dads stock 07 apex). Its all covered under the warranty though, so thats good.

Just rode 60 miles tonight. all i can say is wow, im in love with this thing. Its everything i could have asked for and more out of a sled.
Power is phenomenal, suspension is great....the only bad thing is that the stock yamaha skis suck....but i knew that going into it.
