Just picked up an 06 rtx. Problems already - y pipe removal

I had this same problem last year with mine. Guy who owned it before went 4600 without changing them and both y-pipes were shot. $600 to repair...

That sucks. Ya, I didn't know really what to listen for when I bought it. Just glad that only 1 y pipe was bad. My bill was only about $160 for the pipe and 2 new gaskets for the ends. New donuts came free from the dealer I bought it from.

did you buy it local? I may need to ask you if you'd let me test a speedo I've been tinkering with, trying to see if I can fix it.
