I just purchased a 60csx as well. Can it be powered off the same line (via "y" rca connector) as the electric shield power, which is wired (with a resetting fuse) to the battery? Thanks for your advice.

It should work...you'd have to fab up a cable of your own though...I don't think there is one out there that would work.
I find it's better to hook it direct to the battery so that there is constant power. Hooking it up to the accessory 12v adapter doesn't provide this. This causes hiccups with track mapping on the Gps as it's wanting to shut off/on when the ignition is turned off/on.

Is the power output from the heated sheild the same as the GPS? Careful Im with Grimm, I have mine hardwired the the battery with a switch so I can turn off the sled but have the GPS on. The input for my GPS is not 12V as there is a inline converter. I buddy smoked his GPS by improper hook up.

The 60CSX will work direct wired to the sleds battery. I have had mine like it for 2 seasons and no issues. Just buy the pigtail plug on ebay for the GPS. I think I got mine for 3.00

I went to radio shack bought a accesory plug with a cover for $8 wired it to the battery not a problem at all traded the nytro in on an etec did the same thing not a problem on either sled I did find the lithum batteries as back up are a must last a lot longer like the whole season instead of a day as i unplug the unit and leave it on when i am not with the sled
enjoy and have a great season

Looking to run a line from the battery to the gps unit. Thats what I have done with my heated shield with no problems. Is that what most of you guys have done? What Pigtail plug are you referring too? Something I can get at Radioshack?
Also, a mount. What RAM mount do you suggest? Hoping I can have it on the Attak's handle bar. Thanks for your advice.
