Just bought an XTX...What to change first?

If you plan to go off trail at all you need to change the skis.

hows the 6.9's on the sled????

I liked them so much I put a set on the 08 Vector LTX GT, made a world of difference, especially off trail.

with one or two sets of runners? what about handling on trail as in darting etc.?

2 sets of runners, great on and off trail, No darting anymore!

Next I do want to do skiis, not sure which ones yet. Last year I definitely had issues with the front sinking while making trail through the trees.

First thing i would do would be to stud it.. then ride it, then mod as you feel necessary

Had qualipieces on mine too. Alot better than stock, but still hard to steer. If removing pressure on the straps limiters, I'm loosing steering. One thing I know it will never corner like my SX.
