Rave reviews on the newMach z 1000 skidoo... Called the fastest production sled leaving all others in the dust!
They also seemed to like the new vector alot too.. saying that its almost as fast as the rx-1.. you would have to ride them back to back and still might not know which one was faster! Impressed with the amount of adjustability in the rear suspension!
THe New redline gets PUT DOWN BADLY!! Dont expect much from this sled!
Rx-1 has the worst HP to weight ratio..(why is it soo fast then) :lol:

Sounds like the Vector must really rip. I am guessing the Vector is the fastest sled in the 600 cc class which is where they put it. So they are trying to tell us 05 RX-1 owners that there isn't a difference ha? I guess we will have to find out for ourselves.

I don't think the Vector will be the fastest in the 600 class and really don't care as it was not designed to be that. Like it for what it is unique and reliable.

I can just hear competitors talking about how poor the hp to weight ratio is on the RX-1. Who gives a sh*t as it is just a figure on paper. Take it onto the lakes to see the real hp.
For some reason when you add a turbo those HP to weight numbers seem to change a bit.
I stiil think the best sled money can buy is a good used RX-1 with a turbo. Total cost is less than a new Doo and I promise you it will stomp that 1000cc 2 stroke.

Instead of taking a hit either trading or selling your RX why not consider a turbo? The diferrence between your trade value and what a new 1000 would cost would likely pay for the turbo. Just a thought.......

Good theory....I like it!
I would LOVE a Turbo....except I would need it installed "Turn Key" as both my time and technical abilites are very limited and that would drive the cost up.

there is a dyno chart in the mag also that compares all the 120hp class sleds!
The vector blows them all away! The HP comes on sooner and stays there later with more peak hp than even the F6!
Weither or not the Hugh amount of torque and hp will be enought to overcome the extra weight it has over the 2 stroke sleds will be left to be seen!
Should be a Kick #*$&@ sled!! Especially with the aftermarket parts that will be available for it!
