Polaris was in town tonight w/ all their new iron. I was glad to see that the fusion is much more appealing in person than in all the "spy" photos. The sled had some really engineered looking pieces - spindles, radiator - and some pretty cheap looking features - storage compartments, gold colored springs and head cover. Overall, it looked like a step in the right direction but not enough of it. Yamaha was here Saturday and I checked them out also. The mono suspension sure looks trick and the new seat seems plush. I have decided to jump ship from my 02 XC800.
I'm ordering an RX-1ER next week. The Yammies are much more finished as far as the engineering goes than the Polaris. Almost automotive like. I just hope that rear end rides good.
