Keeping the Nytro for another season

I would get the Clear tank. Its nice to be able to just look at the tank and KNOW without a doubt how much fuel you have. It does get a little dirty, but oh well. If you are into having a perfect looking sled...black might be better for you.

I bought mine directly from trailtank. Then they had an update kit for it, I told them when I bought my tank, and they send out the kit very quickly no questions asked. Later I decided to add the MTX cooler, and the first Gen tank wasn't compatible with it, so I emailed and explained the situation. They sold me the newest updated tank at a very good price. Long story short, Very good customer service.

This is the tank, brand new. I don't think I have any used pictures

Also, you asked about different seats, the seat you're looking at is the 2" high rise seat kit from scotty. Its very nice and comfy.

Well I just ordered a clear tank from Trail Tank. I went with clear because I want to be able to see the gas level, and because I really don't worry about how clean the sled looks.

Still debating on the seat. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Which seats are you looking at? I'm also in the market for a new seat to. Skinz seat looks the best imo but heard it isn't very comfortable.

I'm looking at the Skinz, which I agree doesn't look very comfortable, the Mountain Mod, which is too expensive, and two kits, the WRP and Scotty, both of which offer new foam and a cover, for 2" increased height.

hoping i dont have to add vents cuz of my new trailtank. like my sled the way it is and i cant put the OFT dash vent on cuz my windshield bag sits right on it.
bummer...i heard it ran a little warmer but didnt realize it was causing overheating.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. As long as you're in good snow conditions and keep moving you may never have a problem. It was only when I was in really bad conditions, or stopping and waiting for people a lot that I would see my heat light. Kinda just annoying.

If you do start seeing your light, you could add the MTX cooler. Problem solved, and its an easy install.

The Trailtank is fantastic. I have not noticed increased temps under the hood but then again it’s just a dummy light. This summer I took Grizz's advice and changed the thumb screws to snaps.

I did the snaps too. Such a great idea. I was lucky that a guy at work does marine canvas, and i was able to get everything from him. Even have a over/under snap so i can remove my side deflectors without removing tank shroud.
also for anyone doing this check your local hardware/marine store, they make a male snap already in 10/32 machine thread. no need to solder.

For the snaps you can find it all at Home Depot. They have the 10/32 posted type snaps there as well.
