Looking for a good trail skis (aggressif rider), the split rail was my first choice but the company doesn't answer my emails so I'm still shopping and gattering info . I ended up looking at Kimpex stealth 7" ski, it as dual carbide and is plenty wide for my off trail rides. It seems pretty good for the price (c&a are way to expensive)
Do any of you as input on the kimpex stealth? Any other ski that would fit my needs ??

I really like the Sly Dog Powder Hounds. 7” wide They work excellent on the trail and even better off trail. Very light turning ski and the reverse keel holds the corners well! I switched it up last year and tried the C&A Razors and they track well but are much harder to steer . I have some Razors for sale in the classified section.

09 apex Mountain ski works great for on and off trail and it’s pretty cheap.

- 08' Nytro RTX 40th Anniversary - Stretched
Skis are such a personal decision as you can imagine. With that being said, I added a set of 6.9 Pilots to my stretched 08' last year and I am super happy with how it handles. I consider myself a fairly aggressive rider. The 6.9 Pilots have a light steering effort with 6" carbide down the center and 4" on the outside. My set up with these skis gives me just a little push in the corner if I really crank it which is my preference. Using modified Yamaha ski handles and rubbers kept the cost down with new skis. G.B.

If off trail the tuners are not your ski, I was on a budget so did the full Bergstrom setup and love it on trails in any conditions. In powder it is a narrow ski so does not float super well but I can deal as we have enough torque to spin / surf out of most situations within reason, but come off throttle and nose is heavy... Powder hounds sound interesting.
I thought Kimpex made the cheapest worst -insert any snowmobile item here- ever. No way I'd pick them over C&A.

Hate to say it but the Kimpex Arrow ski is one of the best trail skis out there ! They are not great off trail because of the width but track perfect and turn light . I have not tried any other Kimpex ski but still have a set of Arrows as a backup ski . The only reason I don’t use them now is I prefer the wider Sly Dogs. Look up some reviews on the original ArrowsI thought Kimpex made the cheapest worst -insert any snowmobile item here- ever. No way I'd pick them over C&A.
