I got my risers from Lake Effect Snow AKA Superman yesterday and thought i would post some pics. After seeing a few on here with them i decided to try this riser and wow this thing looks awsome you really get something here for your money. And I the shipping and customer service from superman was awsome i had this riser in 3 days. I bought a 2.5" Apex Pivot(so i can use the chrome trim ring) and a 5.5" Riser I think it will be perfect. Heres a couple pics

I LOVE mine and nothing like having a riser that is different than most of the others on the trail.

Superman is a great person to deal with.

Are you going to get the H.I.D. headlights as well??????

yeah i love the looks of this riser superman is great......of course im getting hid's lol 3000k yellow

hey i was going to send you a pm could you tell me what has to be done to wire the apex bars into the rx wiring? I did some reading but couldnt find out exactly what had to be done i know one of them is series and the other is parrallell

mbarclay, the sled Is looking great, love the black hood your going with. Just wondering how you find the height of the riser compared to when your standing up? I am 6'3" and Interested In a riser, how do you find the position with total 8" rise?
Also, with the Apex pivot, does that bolt right into the rx steering post or did you have to mod?

Thanks

the apex pivot bolts right to the rx steering plate. all the apex pivot adapter dose is allow you to use the crome ring at the base of the riser to help hide the wires and helps dress it up a bit

what he said lol i bought the apex trim ring which i highly recommend it just finishes it off and helps hide the wires even more. The bars feel pretty good i could have went a tad higher but then it would feel to comfy sitting so its good for both sitting and standing it doesnt feel quite as tall as the 4" riser i had with the stock rx bars. Definetly love the looks of the lake effect riser and apex bars though ;)!

I had a 4" riser on mine and Chris set me up with a 4 1/2" dogbone and it made a huge difference, now it is perfect for me! good for sitting and standing! I really like that all Black look you have going! It looks sharp!

Looks like mine and I have to agree getting the trim ring on is a pain in the A$$!!!!! Butt its well worth it.

not as bad as extending the wires though lol but yeah definetly well worth it makes the sled look soo much better without that damn padded bar

Looks great, what bars are those?
'07 Apex bars, What bars did you go with on yours? They don't seem to have as much of a rise.
your whole set up look real nice all finished up!
