Hey guys,
Thinking of adding 8" billet wheels to my edge skid. The stock wheels are 5 3/4" idler and 6 3/8" rear axle wheels. If I go to 8" rear wheels, what size idlers would I need to keep it all level? Also what about the front inner wheels they need to be lowered down as well?
Thanks!

The size of the idler is 8". Do you mean bearing size?
You will need an offset axle to accomodate the larger wheels. They are not designed to lift the track further from the sliders, but reduce rolling resistance.

I was talking about the front bogie wheels, idlers wheels what ever you call them, the smaller wheels on the front of the skid.
I hadn't thought of a off set axle, then I could keep the same dimesions of the stock wheels in the rest of the skid and run the eight inchers out back. Cool thanks!

How new is the skid from the poo,is it an edge skid,or the extra 10 cause for the longest time poo ran 5.325 dia. boogie wheels, and now i see they have changed to a slightly larger dia. and its all plastic like our yammi wheels, and no replacement bearing,my older style has a c clip and replaceable bearing. Wow am i bad your post stated edge skid, sorry!!! :ORCkinger said:I was talking about the front bogie wheels, idlers wheels what ever you call them, the smaller wheels on the front of the skid.
