Took my last ride yesterday and I would have to say that this year was as close to the winters I remember as a kid with good snow for riding the trails week after week and plenty of days to get your fix … I know not all area’s can say that and I feel blessed to be able to get out as much and as often as my little heart desired.. As for anyone that could not , Iam truly sorry for your conditions and hope they improve next year…

I can say it was definitely better then the last 3-6 years. If we would have continued to have these good winters I don't think Yamaha would have pulled out so fast.

Yes I agree, its too bad cause we lost a great manufacturer to say the least… But unfortunately for us that how things go sometimes….I can say it was definitely better then the last 3-6 years. If we would have continued to have these good winters I don't think Yamaha would have pulled out so fast.

We just got back from a County trip here in Maine, we stayed in Madawaska, and I have to say the trails in Madawaska and surrounding towns were incredible, to say the least! It's a 5 hour drive from home and we were able to look at conditions hours away from our destination, as we drove through the county, so we kinda knew where the best of the best snow conditions were on our way to Madawaska! Yep, The county doesn't disappoint and their trails were magnificent, and better then what I thought they were gonna be. Great mix of a few RR beds, Power lines, but those woods trails that lead to those expansive field road course type trails, where you can see your riding buddy 1/2 mile ahead, racing through those long expansive field trails, ahead of you as you come over a rise, which gives you this view and the urge to do the same, over and over again! Just WOW, and Thanks to all those Clubs that made it possible with their impeccably maintained trails!! We may have hit the best of the best, in all of Maine this week, but still hoping for one more day trip, if Mother Nature allows, closer to home, but it"s not sounding to promising with very warm weather upcoming!! This was an OK year closer to home whereas we were able to trailer but 1/2 hour from home for many rides this season, when compared to the last many seasons we've had. Nothing like winters of the past, but we will take it and hope for much the same next season too!

Great post!
