Plenty of information that you may find helpful. If I'm honest (and I know stevewithOCD will agree with me), take that spaceship up to Moosehead Lake, Millinocket, or Aroostook County in Maine instead of Vermont - HUGE sweeping trails, nice long straights, NO speed limits (until you hit something, of course), and the registration is only $100. As a kid and when I first learned to ride, Vermont is nice. But there is just no comparison to the trails in Maine when matched with the capability of that 'Winder.
The man knows of what he speaks!!!!! Maine's trail system is the best in the Northeast, and the clubs are doing a great job of grooming them. I used to ride in Quebec all the time because their trails and grooming were unsurpassed, but now, I rarely leave Maine. We have come a long way. Aroostook is a snowmobiler's paradise, but a long haul from Mass. The Jackman area gives you access to great trails that run in every direction, and it is much closer than Aroostook.

Ouch, tough crowd. Yeah there are some issues, not compared to when he rode as a kid. Not sure how long ago it was but years ago you carried oil, plugs, tow ropes and rode with a buddy since no phones to get a ride/tow out of the woods.
LaLaLa:dunno::rofl::Rockon::moon:

i still ride with another rider when i can as it is safer. now a days i still carry belt, tool kit, booster cables, 1l of motor oil and a tow strap. usually do not have problems with my own stuff but i stop and help others as it has been me needing the hand witch is why i always carry more, especially when i am leading a group. i still always carry these + items as it does not hurt to have them with me as i wildereness ride off trail by myself. + items are, saw, lighter, expanded tool kit, snow bungee, chemical hand warmers, duct tape, bailing wire, folding knife and a small 1st aid kit.

congrats on the new sled! enjoy it.

Someone asked how long ago it was that I rode. ... that was about 20 years ago. So lots of changes since then obviously with technology. I don’t even think they had 4 banger sleds back then. Got it home yesterday and promptly ordered some dollies because damn those carbides don’t like my brand new driveway lol. My wife just shook her head and laughed that another “toy” is taking up a garage stall while my trucks sit in the barn.

Nice ride that red is awesome looks way better than all the brochures pics I have seen.

You must live under a rock...

track shaft spinning in bearing, frozen roll-over valves, loosenong screws in chain case, front wiring harnesses that short to chassis up by fuse block, etc, etc)
Wow some of you guys are depressing,man not every sled has all those issues,he may not have any issues at all.

Cant agree more with snowbeast. I have 12,700 kms on most with powertrail tune and have blown maybe 5 belts until i did dalton spring and helix. If you arent mechanically adept find a good dealer for your seasonal maintenance at the very least. If you want to worry get an 850 wonder doo like my best riding buddy did, 11 250$ cdn belts first season, no warranty help, 1,800$ in injector oil and most of them i ride with dont see 5,000 kms before catastrophic engine failure. My best riding bud traded the 850 for a clean winder traded at a doo dealer. He would give you a testimonial how much better winder is.

That’s funny cuz my riding buddy has 17 or 18 850 Doo and I’m thinking he’s at 9 or 10 belts and some have gone in under 500 mile intervals.

Aren’t you forgetting that sweet Yamaha turbo triple ? Truly a joint venture between Arctic Cat and Yamaha. This sled changed my mind on getting a Venture, looking forward to getting ours on the snow.
This sled is so much better than my 2013 LXR kitty turbo,in less than two winters 12 belts,and one motor,hood was such a pain in the butt to remove,plus clips for side panels and hood. I loved the chassie,but there were just to many other problem areas,and the motor was just not sweet sounding like this Yamaha mill,and no way stock for stock could stay w/winder/thundercat from 2017 up.

One of these is for sale at a local dealer for $14,999.
