Yammy is to intro their new Sno-Cross sled at the Orillia Snow Cross Race in Ontario this weekend. It's supposed to be lighter than everyone else's 440's. It's an 832 Twin 4 banger with 105 HP. It will be availble for sale Monday for delivery next fall.

Info came from a dealer who just got the info from his Yammy rep

If its lighter then the other manufacturers 440 race sleds, all there is gonna be is that big twin 4 stroke and a throttle flipper handle because that alone will weigh more then the 440 race sleds :o|

WOW........JUST WHAT WAS ON MY WISH LIST....832cc /105hp, slap a turbo on it and presto. A 150 hp, reiable ditch banger that can still scream down the lake.

I won't be able to sleep till next winter.............. :D

A fourstroke that is lighter than the two strokes..

I say i HIGHTLY DOUBT IT!!

THe race sleds only weight 425lbs..

race

I imagine the 440 liquid pro mods machines are pushing 110 to 120 hp,, or a little more.

I sure hope Yamaha came up with a stronger W-arm :o|

Dont see how a 4 stroke could be that light....

Sure hope its true!!!!!! :yam:

Look at the diff in the motorcross bikes. There is only 5 to 10 lbs diff. ;)!
