Re: 144 hartman kit
The top holes were actually a mistake... that high the track would hit the rear heat exchanger. Not good. The second ones worked. At the bottom holes, its just too stupidly high for trail riding.
As for it hitting the spring, I responded to that question in another thread where you asked, but again, read whats above in the post with the pictures... that extra track tensioning I mention causes the center of the track to get pulled down to the spring every time you hit a bump. Notice that I was VERY disappointed in that Hartman kit, so I did my own thing instead.

thanks for the help LB,i found the problem with the shock rubbing the track,it was installed with the adjuster in the front instead of the back,i replaced all the bushings in rear skid last year and must have installed it the wrong way,"heres my sign",as far as the ride goes i dont know yet but i did use the stock measurements to lower the ride height and the transfer rods are even spaced when i sit on seat,so it close,i will keep you posted might be putting a LB custom kit in mine too,or i'll go with a venture rear skid next year man dont they ride awesome

Wow, lol. I would never have thought of that, but yeah, the spring does come closer to the front mount than the back.

I know, I know... digging up a old thread from the past but im curious on how this worked out long term....
I'm looking at doing the same thing... (rx1 rides a little rough and im looking at having it handle the moguls a bit better).

It works, but needs stiffer springs and shocks than stock to compensate for the extra leverage.
