Has anyone done a repair on their Instrument cluster? Mine must have gotten moisture inside and now is almost impossible to read. I want to take it apart but decided to ask if anyone has had success with this. Mine is a 2017 Viper STX-DX 137

I guess no one has tried to repair the gauge or had trouble with it. Will attempt to go into this on my own after the season is over.

The display should be sealed but it sounds like yours is not. I bet that when the outside temperature gets above freezing, that the moisture will come out of it. If you get a warm sunny day, park your sled in the sunshine and allow mother nature to dry it out slowly. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply. We had an awful October here in Manitoba, unbelievable amounts of rain. The sled was parked in a portable shelter. When I went to pull it out at the beginning of December it was covered in ice. There were icicles hanging from the roof. I will try what you suggested and let everyone know what happens.

Mine will develop moisture in it if I’m riding in snow dust for a day. Never did anything to try and fix it it kind of clears up on its own after a while.

I can understand how the moisture got inside when it was that damp last fall. The heat from the sun will dry it out slowly. I hope that this works for you. Thanks for the reply. Just to give you an update. Ran it all weekend. Great riding conditions. Let it sit in the sun when not riding and the gauge did clear up after a half day of riding. I think it will be fine.

I also had moisture when my machine was new, not only in the factory gauge but also in the AEM AFR and Boost gauges. It would happen when I put it outside from the heated garage. It disappears as soon as the cold dry air work their way through it. Doesn't seem to do it anymore. No idea why.
