I'm going to start a new thread on this one. I'm looking to get led headlights for my viper.
I got some in my dodge ram high beams and fog lights. They're super bright. Just wondering how they do in the viper lens.

I don't have any snow time but I have a set of rocmeister's LED's in my wife's viper. They were awesome in her old school viper. Just a hair shy of my HID's I was running. But very bright with a good pattern and reach. From just testing them at night in garage they should work as good or better in new viper. Plug and play with ballest and cooling fans.

I bought a set of 3000 lumen (per bulb) 6000K LED bulbs on eBay end of last winter, but never got around to install them, so no feedback on how they perform.
The "issue" with most of the LED bulbs is that they have a fan. That's good for the bulb itself, but mounting them means you have to cut the rubber seal that goes on the back of the reflector and over the bulb, otherwise you won't fit the rubber seal over the bulb.

You can get the ones with the copper mesh for cooling so it should stuff in there. I'm going to order some to try them out.I bought a set of 3000 lumen (per bulb) 6000K LED bulbs on eBay end of last winter, but never got around to install them, so no feedback on how they perform.

So do you pull the rubber boot over the fan or no fan on the bulb? Any pictures?

The fan unscrews from the bulb assembly if I remember right. No pics on sr viper but I may have some from old viper to show ya.

The fan unscrews from bulb assembly. Then once bulb and boot are mounted you screw fan back on to bulb.

Here are some pic's. This is on one of my older vipers, but the pattern and reach were very comparable to HID's. The last 2 pics are of HI and LOW. Hard to tell on pics but was a big difference. Rode mostly on low.

I have no idea what brand. I bought them from roc here on ty. His kits are the best and designed for snowmobiles not cars or other things. They work and fit perfect with great customer service. What brand bulbs are these?

We have these ebay LED's in the Blue/White viper and they have worked great for 2 seasons now and very bright compared to OEM. I did not put the fans on because I don't see them working when they are covered in snow dust or even lasting very long getting wet and frozen all the time. It's cold out after all and the bulbs have a huge heat sink on them so I think cooling is fine. Last season we rode once with outside temps of 60F and the LEDs showed no signs of getting hot. Just my 2 cents. Let it snow!
