19 miles from Lewis Hills...Oh Ya.
I can't let Dave (Nytromaniac) have all the fun posting photos so I figured I'd share a few from yesterdays ride. Our plan was to get into the Lewis Hills, but with overcast and snow visibility was poor so we stuck to our other favorite area, the Blue Hills.

The Nytro rocks. Everyone who tried it was amazed by the power. It became evident to me that if I'm going to ride hard, I'll need to re-valve my rear shock to RTX specs.

:jump: You've got my attention!! I'm impressed!!!!! Nice whips!!! :pics:

That's our boy Gunson. He's got no fear when it comes to anything. He's one of those ride hard all year long guys (Sled ---MX---Sled).

I'm much more tame than most of the guys LOL.

Nic pics

The 3rd pic (rev with white skis) Did he save it WITHOUT touching the side panels?

He managed to land a couple, but on most attempts he wasn't able to get enough height to have the time to bring it back over.

He hit some really cool side hill jumps later traveling about 20-30ft and getting the sled around nicely on most of them. Really sick looking. Our camera guy was stuck and missed that series LOL.

Thanks guys...This is basically a typical weekend of riding for us. There are a lot of talented riders in our area and we usually take some footage and put out a video at the end of the year to showcase the Lewis Hills and the riders in the area.

Just a bunch of guys having fun. Everyone rides within their limits, and no one feels pressured to do anything they don't want to.

Fun is what its all about, and should be.

Do you ride with a friend name bill ,He work at M and F motors.

We see Billy out every now and again, but he usually rides with a different group. He's been busy working on his cabin so he doesn't ride as much outside of going into the cabin to work on it. Oh, and he's not with M&F now, in case you are looking for him LOL.

I'll post some more pics the next time we ride. Thanks for the comments fellas.

Amazing pics as always  Goddo isn't joking when he says there's talent in them hills, the guys are incredible to watch, part of the reason I get over there at least once a year ! And their playground is really something else, huge bowls, kickers, drops, chutes and climbs, it's quite the place whether you want to soar or tour, not to mention they always get pounded with snow. I highly recommend the Hills if you're ever thinking about heading east to do some riding, one month away and counting here ;)!

Hey guys, if you like snowmobiling images, check out our site. I didn't start this thread as a means of promoting our site, but there are literally thousands of images in our gallery from the last few seasons of riding.

Not all the images have this level of clarity. Some of the images I posted are shot by a great local photographer with a D200.

Here is the link.

Click on the gallery link to see the pics. Trail gallery is where most of the images go. The gallery has been really slow lately so have patience. Feel free to join the forum as well.

Snowmobiling on The Rock

Nice pics Goddo! Being from The Rock ( Corner Brook ) I am familiar with these riding areas.
Show casing Lewis Hills is no problem. Awesome snow, awesome people, spectacular backcountry with some of the greatest snowmobiling in the World.
When you experience snowmobiling on the west coast of Newfoundland, you will be back.
