How long does the system last at 6psi? Belt life? Is the fuel mapping foolproof or do you have to tune all the time? thanx... (it's on an 07 Apex)

I can't answer the question about mapping but as for the lngevity of the system and belts; I can give you a pretty good idea since the RX-1 and APEX use the same blower.

I installed my kit in dec '05 and have had no issues with the centifugal supercharger's reliability on my '03 RX-1 mtn running; the pullies in the 26 on crank/22 on jackshaft pulley configuration. I'm still running the original belt on those pullies with no issues. I did grenade the other blower belt that goes from the jack shaft to the super charger last Feb because I didn't realize I could adjust the tension on it.

I don't do high milleage seasons like you guys on the trials but my sled is usaully seeing heavier loads and contantly running high rpms due to deep powder, and o far the kit has 1800 miles on it. Here's the type of snow most of my milleage is accrued in. It loads the motor so much that I use about 4.8 gals of fuel to ride 33 miles.

I'm the same as Jim - RX-1 Mtn. with the kit installed 2-05 and it has just over 3840 miles on boost, 10 PSI. I replaced one spun s/c belt ~ it was just not put back on tight enough, and that was 12-05. No other parts from the MPI kit or stock have broken or went bad. I'm the proactive type guy and think about replacing stuff but have had no need. No complaints here, 14 trips this season and it's just add gas and go.
