What's the deal with the Lightning Pro turbo? Does anyone have any experience with this setup? How does it work in comparison to the other systems? What is the company like to deal with as far as setup and service is concerned? Any info would be appreciated. I would like to purchase a turbo system for my 03 rx1 mtn and am deciding between the lighning pro and the Powderlites system.
Thanks

I agree, have not heard much as of late about the system. The last I heard was TJ's sports was putting it on the Turbo RX they are building for Snowest Mag. Should have alot more info when that sled gets released.

I have dealt with Bob on other things and have found him very good and helpful to work with. I suggest you call him. I bekieve they have decided not to get into the internet debate about turbos. I am sure he would be willing to tell you anything you would like to know. His email is mmtech@chartermi.net

RX1PRO, I sure hope it was not you that was getting beat by my friend Scott on his Viper, I heard that there was a turbo out there that could not touch him, they were working on it and must have been having some problems with it. Do you know of any other turbo's that were out there if it was not you ? I was also told that Jason was out there helping with the turbo sled, is this you ? My buddy Scott's Viper runs pretty strong especially when we have one of our other guy's drive it.
Yamanator: No it was CPR Turbo. The Guy is Chris in parts. I beleive he has a Fuel delevery and octain issue. We tried many things and it didn't pull like it should.
I've ridden BBY's CPR so I know there is a problem with Chris's sled. He'll get it worked out

Get that guy to re-seal his T-fittings on the carbs. Mine was doing the exact same thing!!!!

Ya I suggested he pull the carbs clean them and drain the fuel he's running. I also suggestd he get it running right on Pump fuel and low boost. then Increas the boost and increase his octain level.
