This just started happening a few weeks ago on my 06 Grizz. At first, I hadn't used my winch in a while. I'd turn the key on, then try to start my quad, and the cluster would go blank. Then it would work, intermittently. We just got some plowable snow, and last night I noticed that it got worse as the plowing continued. Winching up the plow almost killed the quad several times. I replaced the battery probably 2-3 years ago. Is it time for a new one or might there be some other electrical gremlin I should look into? FWIW, I do put on an avg. 100 miles plowing each winter, so lots of use on the winch. And I have heated grips.

have you tried putting the battery on trickle charge? sounds like it might be low.
could also have some poor/dirty contacts that need to be cleaned up.
