I picked up a brand new nytro rtx yesterday and as the dealer was loading it up for me he said 'by the way i adjusted the limiter strap up 2 holes from stock to prevent the skis from going so high in the air.' The machine is completely stock and nothing has been touched but that. Will this affect anything else like top end or handling? Every comment is greatly appreciated!

From what I hear is that is makes it steer little easyer and stops the front end from coming up. I dont know,My straps are stock.

go up to the 3rd hole or your sled will want to wheelie all the time also take some preload out of the front spring on the skid might want to adjust compression on the hard side on the rear shock helps with weight transfer these things are fast and have torque
I believe the stock setting has the strap all the way lengthened, so if your dealer moved it 2 holes you would be 2 holes shorter. This is the setting that works for a lot of guys to get less transfer and more ski bite in the corners.
I run mine 1 hole shorter than stock and it works great for me, but I am using C&A Razor skis...

Weight transfer would help keep the skis down on accel. Limiter strap puts more pressure to the front(skis) when riding.

You have a smart dealer. It was fun riding it with as is from th factory until a corner came up. After lots of tweaks and hours on here most of us are liking the sled better with the limiter strap raised 1-2 holes, sometimes I hear peeps going 3 too....

When I test drove one at the dealership I noticed the skis came up alot which I didnt mind but I think I would definately like them touching the ground on the corners!! Thanks alot for the info guys I appreciate it!
