Hi, looking to see if anyone has pics of thier limiter straps pulled up I'm a little confused on which way to go with them, also I have the longer links and 12mm bar for my sled do I need to get diff parts to hook these to the (swinging) link on my a-arm or just swing it down and bolt it to the longer link any pics of this will help me out Thanks this site is the best.

pulling the limiter straps up means shortening them. you will see holes in the strap that are there for adjustment. undo one end from the cross shaft and bolt back together with the next closest hole, shortening the strap. both straps must be done equally. the links and bar are bolt on pieces, lift the front of sled off floor to make the job easier.

I think the '03s also had adjustable straps. All you have to do is loosen the locking nuts and tighten the nuts on the eye bolts that the straps are connected to. Adjust the straps so they are even.
If you make them shorter there will be more ski pressure and less travel for the front of the rear suspension. The skis will turn harder.
You may want to adjust the rear suspension's front spring to match the straps. If the spring gets too tight, the sled may teeter totter. If the spring is too loose the spring's retaining/support ring will be loose and self-destruct. So after you mess with the straps, figure out what you may need to do with the spring.
